3 Sleeper Picks for the Steelers in the 2021 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is inching closer and closer. We know that 90-95% of Steeler fans seem to want Najee Harris and we've been banging that drum since Day 1. I want to talk about some players that the Steelers could take if Najee is not there for the Steelers at 24, or if the Steelers just decide to go another route.

Zaven Collins LB- It honestly wouldn't hurt to add another Linebacker. This guy is a freak and I think he would fit well on this team. The man is listed as 6'4'' and 260 Pounds. I just think he would be a great linebacker to pair with Devin Bush and this wouldn't mean kicking Robert Spillane to the curb. This would add some much-needed depth to the position and I wouldn't complain about that at all.

Caleb Farley CB- This guy is a stud. The only reason he would be here for the Steelers at 24 would be because of a few injury concerns. However, I feel by the NFL season he should be all good to compete again. This dude is a good natural corner that would fit well in our cornerback room. Especially with Steven Nelson getting cut. Joe Haden isn't getting any younger as well. The only concern with this is going through another Artie Burns situation.

Jayson Oweh EDGE- Jayson is probably one of the better edge rushers in the NFL Draft. I think with the departure of Bud Dupree, this guy could be a decent pairing with TJ Watt in the long run. I wouldn't give up on Highsmith, however, if one of our Outside-Linebackers go down, what do we have left? Nothing much. I think this Penn State product would do well in a Keith Butler Defense. He definitely has some growing to do. I would like to see some more sacks out of him in the NFL.
