The NFL Draft is finally here! It's Draft Day folks! I'm excited to finally end the speculation that we have all been having on who the Steelers could end up drafting. There have been discussions of Najee Harris, Zaven Collins, and even some other guys! Anything can happen, the NFL Draft is a wild event and I'm excited to see it.
The Steelers pick Najee Harris- The Steelers get their guy at 24. He ends up falling right into their laps and this is something they cannot ignore. People knock him for him being 23 years old, however, I don't see this as a horrible thing. This guy has grown into the player that we need and I would be very excited to have him in the building. I'm hoping he'd be able to be RB1 as soon as week 1 rolls around.
Steelers don't draft a QB- A QB is not what the Steelers need this season, it's Ben's last year and we need to give him all the ammo we can. I just don't see the Steelers trading up and taking a top-tier quarterback or drafting Kyle Trask or another mid-tier QB later in the NFL Draft. It just wouldn't be very smart when we have so many other needs on this team.
Steelers don't add WR in the 2021 NFL Draft- I could be very wrong about this, however, I just don't see the Steelers spending a Draft Pick on a WR this Draft. I think they opt to perhaps get a TE early instead. Ebron is good, however, it would be nice to get another TE in our building to help us out in the run game. Guys like Elijah Moore would be pretty cool. However, the Steelers need to remember who they already have in their building and there is only one ball.
