3 Players the Steelers can sign before Training Camp

Malik Hooker:

He could very well end up becoming a Steeler come training camp. He provides ample depth to the safety positions and he should come at a relatively low price. I would anticipate him coming in on a one-year rental and possibly stay with us beyond that.

Malik Hooker has already been in Pittsburgh on a visit, so, now it's just a waiting game to see where he will sign. He has also been linked to another AFC North team which was the Baltimore Ravens. *gags* sorry just puked in my mouth a little bit.

Melvin Ingram:

After losing Bud Dupree, I would think adding Melvin would be a no-brainer. He's a solid pass rusher who would compliment the pieces we already have on this roster. I think Highsmith is still solid, however, you can't ignore the possibility of adding the former Charger to the team and we'd be better because of it.

He would be another one-year rental who would benefit from a solid season on a reduced salary to guarantee a bigger payday elsewhere. The Steelers have the money, what are we waiting for?

Dennis Kelly:

Adding some Offensive line depth here wouldn't be bad at all. However, adding a 31-year-old player might have some additional problems. However, with a relatively new offensive line pairing, having additional pieces wouldn't hurt.

Once again, the Steelers should be able to get him at a bargain price. However, the only thing I'm iffy about here is the age thing. It just worries me because of the potential injuries that could happen.
